I want to buy a SIM card in Malaysia and keep on using when even I visit penang. Mostly once in three months I visit.

1) What prepaid telecom SIM better with long validity?
2) can we topup from sg?

You can try oneXOX, its a prepaid sim with a expiry life of 2 years and the packages are ok la imo

I would like to develop an apps to intercept the communication between the SIM card and ME. basically like a proxy between the two.

I want all communication packets to be handle by my program.

Is this possible?

Oh... maybe they change liao. 3 years ago needed sim card for gps system and bought 15 pcs in MBK... dont remember they asking for anything.
