You do know the bulk of our covid 19 cases come from the dormitories right? If we did not clear them of covid 19, letting them come out for release is like releasing covid 19 out in the open. Plus the legal places they go to are all closed. So you release them.. they also have limited places to go.

I think they are more worried their local employer collapsed due to covid. Without a job, they will be sent back to their home country. Their home countries are all badly hit by covid now. Singapore is safer for them. Bangalas prefer to be quarantined. No need to work but still get paid, better meals, more spacious living environment, probably free wifi too.

Talk is easy. So many F&B for what? Already nowadays some so-called malls are just a collection of F&B joints. I guess many people don't mind spending money to eat out, but still feel it's an overcrowded market.

Plus, F&B with restricted alcohol hours also no use, because it caters to the same over-crowded market. No different from those shopping mall restaurants.
