10 day is the min quarantine period as mandated by thai govt. Diff hospitals may apply diff quarantine periods and depending on your condition. usually its 10-14 days.
I cannot afford 14 days leave assuming the worst scenario. I dare not take this risk so no choice for me, have to wait till quarantine period reduced to 5 to 7 days. In SIN it is 4 days.

Much as I want to go and not afraid of getting Omicron or whatever Covid 19 but more concern of having to apply additional days leave last minute in event I am being tested positive and need quarantine. It will wipe out more then half of my annual leave entitlement.

My leave is my limiting factor for traveling and not other as I cannot WFH and must be onsite. No choice as I cannot afford to have 14 days of leave go wasted. If I can work from anywhere, I will surely go since no need to extend leave but just waste the nos of days applied.
