I would definitely recommend Check-in-Bar (CIB), Cindy's when you are in BKK. CIB has a roaster of 15 - 20, more on the weekends. I believe the barfine is 500 or 600 baht, anything else is between you and the LB. i would say its between 1500 to 2500 (ST and LT)
Here are some photos from the bar and the "Loom", the room has all the basic you need and its pretty clean. If you are on holidays why not take them back to the room? I stays in BKK and i have co-workers that stays in the same condo so i avoid bringing them back to my condo
