There are four possibilities, what you have listed are just two
1 - Good advice, free (spirit of true sharing)
2 - Good advice, not free (commercial)
3 - Bad advice, free (Ignorance or malicious intent to mislead)
4 - Bad advice, not free (kenna conned)
I feel all four are possible.
