Just got back from my trip.
A lot has change in Batam. Quality of service dropped tremendously.
Some places has closed down. Others that are still operating, has poorer than previous years's service level.Food prices however remain pretty much the same.
Some hotels like Utama & Lumba etc has closed down. Some new hotels. A lot of hotels are full during weekends & during PH but empty during norm days.
Most hotels nowaday were carter more towards locals.
We booked our girls from hair salons & MPs more than booking joint previous recommended by the AQ team. Minimum booking fee is 1 mil rp tho.
Next trip, Sept 22.
