Re: How to budget so girls and FLs won't bankrupt you?

Set up at least 2 bank accounts. Decide an amount you wish to spend monthly and save the rest in the 2nd account. So if $4000 per month is enough for you, reset the bank balance in your first account to $4000 every time you get your pay. The rest of the money transfer to 2nd bank account.

As the month goes on, each time you withdraw money or check your balance, you know how much of this $4000 you had spent. If you spend $2000 in the first week, subconsciously you know you only have $2000 to spend of the next 3 weeks. This is a form of budgeting. You know how many percent of your monthly budget had been spent.

If at the end of the month you are left with $1000, then you know you only need to top up another $3000 To make it $4000 for the next month. As usual, any amount left from your pay is transferred to your 2nd bank account.

This is a simple check and balance way of budgeting your life.
