Brother, you can also look into these website to get the latest hotel rate or last minute booking. http://www.wotif.com select country Hongkong and then select whether Kowloon area or HK island side.

With other website, the indicate the old rate but with this website, the latest rate are listed as Hongkong hotel rates varies everyday depending on occassions and peak. But this site only list the next 14 days rate, booking is easy though. You can use it as reference to when the Hongkong hotel become expensive due to exhibition or festival, and which period is cheaper and low peak.
