ICA black list question

Not sure if any bro here can advice but asking for a friend
Summary
Viet gal worked as performer in thai clubs with valid work permit on 3 occasions (2012-2016)
Married SG guy in 2017
Divorce IN 2018
Becos guy didnt want her to leave, reported to ICA that she worked in KTV (which she did not)
Now in 2024 Thai club unable to secure work permit for her as ICA rejected

Question
She is willing to engage a lawyer to resolve this issue with ICA -is there any possibility?
Are there any other means to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for any input or insights.

Don't waste time engage lawyer...dun waste money...WP is under MOM not ICA...

She is deemed as a trouble maker and not desirable since married and divorce...so correct that MOM reject her WP application..

Re: ICA black list question

She can’t stay here long without work permit. If she can marry a local. Then can apply to remain here.

When she applied for a Performing Artiste permit the last time, she may have used a different set of fake educational qualifications compared to the documents she submitted when she secured her permits in 2017

If this is the case, MOM would have detected straightaway that her certs and qualifications don't seem to match. Every foreigner who has ever worked in Singapore has a unique Foreign Identification Number (FIN) and all documents and applications are filed against that number even though she has gone home before and come back again.

I think it's really curtains for her ever staying long term in Singapore, under any pass.

Can simply tell her to go other country to work already.

1) Application for WP nothing to do with ex-hubby reporting ICA about her work in KTV.
2) Penguin23 is correct about documentation submission. She burned her own path if she submitted different cert from previous.
3) No point even to think of marriage route to get in Sillypore. Need MOM blessing to get married in Sillypore and ICA blessing that she can get LTVP+ easily. Both likelyhood is very low.

Oh...if she did submit different sets of certs then really the most iditic decisions...anyway everyone only had one ID working in Singapore and will be used throughout career...

Including our NRIC number...

The thing is not knowing, which is gnawing.
The best method right now to find out why, would be to have the club enquire about the reason, maybe the ica will tell.
Its much cheaper than going for a lawyer straightaway.
Maybe give the some 'service fee' to see if they are willing to enquire.

Why would ICA be involved in WP matters ?
