The answer to your question is below as a user who is using apple an product already wrote about his experience for virtual reality for adult purposes, so in a nutshell yes apple mobile device is supported (although android is recommended) as long its IOS 9 and above

From what i know that the best OS when it comes to virtual reality is android as it allows the manipulation of the software but that being that said IOS (Apple) can also be used for VR but its just that android works better.

Also within android you are able to access internal built in controllers while in VR mode but this is not possible if you are using an apple mobile device so both OS can be used for VR but its that android is more preferred

Recently got myself a oculus quest 2 and have to say VR porn is really a level up from on screen porn (eg pornhub)

If yes it is true why is it we do not need an external controller if using an android mobile device while in virtual reality mode?
